Achieving Zero Waste to Landfill

Since 1999, Milliken has sent zero waste to landfill from U.S. carpet manufacturing— a still uncontested first. Even before that, we launched the industry’s first carpet renewal program. We design our carpet with a commmitment to providing End of Life alternatives:

• All Milliken carpet can be renewed, reused or recycled
• We offer a No Carpet to Landfill Pledge. We evaluate the condition of used
carpet being replaced by Milliken and choose the highest form of recovery
possible.
• Our Renaissance Sample Return program offers customers the option of
returning used samples to Milliken

Through our Milliken Trees for All collection of initiatives, we’re helping divert
carpet from landfill.
