Trees for All: Planting the Seeds of Renewal

The Milliken Trees for All™ initiative includes education and tree-planting activities
to benefit our neighborhoods, our supply chain and our customers, while reducing
greenhouse gas impact for future generations.

Milliken nurtures more than 1 million trees every year all over the world, including
a recent initiative to halt the rapid and disastrous expansion of the Inner Mongolian
desert. Trees are natural windbreaks and ground stabilizers.

They’re also remarkably efficient at clearing the air of carbon dioxide. A mature tree
can absorb 48 pounds of CO2 a year. The tree in turn releases enough oxygen to
sustain two human beings.
